Class Information

Starter

The lesson begins gently with stretching, and then moves into barre exercises and center work exercises. This course provides the students with postures, positions and fundamental movements for ballet. This course is designed for beginners.

Available for beginners or those who have one year of experience.

Course I

This course offers necessary lessons for performing on stage. At the barre, students learn the basic coordination of arms and legs movements. During the center work, students practice dancing with a focus on variation of ‘Pas’ – movements of legs – in combination.

Available for those who have one to three years of experience or have a gap.

Course II

This course offers necessary lessons for performing solo on stage. Through the barre exercise students coordinate the movements of their arms and legs and train the movements combined in various motions. The center exercise gives the students practices of Pas which uses the space widely.

Available for those who have three to five years of experience.

Course III

This course offers necessary lessons for performing Pas de deux on stage. It enhances all of the ballet techniques and polishes them to be the artistic expressions.

Available for those who have more than five years of experience.

Pilates

Pilates is commonly called as “thinking exercise” or “re-education exercise.” Students enhance their own senses, consciousness and knowledge to the body, and learn about postures, how to use muscles and how they move. This program offers exercises mainly for flexibility, postures and inner muscles that are required for ballet.

GYROKINNESIS®

The exercise with gentle motions in tune with breathing, as if the entire body waves like a tide of ocean. This stimulates joints, muscles and organs, and then tunes the body smoothly.
Called as “Yoga for dancers,” it aims at building a well-balanced, strong and flexible body.

Barreausol

This barre exercises such as Plie and Battement are done to the music with the face upward and downward. Students pursue the consciousness toward the axis of their body, the accurate En dehors and the right movements. This lesson is for conditioning of dancers.
