Head Instructor Manami Saito

Ms. Saito started classic ballet under Kyoko Mutsu when she was at the age of 3 .
She studied under Genrikh・A・Mayolov, an artistic director of Bolshoi Ballet Academy, and others.
She has been under Hiroko Tomoda, Mistress of The Tokyo Ballet, and Yuko Tomoda at The Tokyo Ballet School.

Ms. Saito studied in France from 1999.
She entered Cannes de Danse International Rosella Hightower and studied under the ex-director of Opera national de paris. During her stay in France, she learned not only ballet but also the release techniques, anatomy and history of dance. Moreover, with her great performance, she was appreciated highly in IDFP of Paris.

In 2001, Ms. Saito studied in USA.
She appeared in many ballet and contemporary dance performances as a soloist. And she participated as a dancing mistress, an assistant choreographer, and an artistic adviser.
She joined the performance which was collaborated between violin units and ballet sponsored by AVEX GROUP HOLDINGS INC.
In 2002, she presented her choreograph work.
From that time on, she also worked on choreographies of stage production.
She danced important roles including Kitri in DON QUIXOTE, Lilac Fairy and Aurora in SLEEPING BEAUTY, Odette in SWAN LAKE and more.
In her teaching career, she was an instructor at ballet classes in Tokyo and at classes held by Tsukuba Community Center. Then she established Pointe Vert BALLET CLASS. She was also a workshop guest trainer, a coach in Dokkyo University Dancesport club, and so on.
In 2005, she completed Mat Pilates Fundamentals Course in Pilates Institute (PI).
In the following year, she acquired the certification of PI pilates trainer which is a UK national qualification.
In January, 2006, she supervised the book of “BALLET BODY MAKING – How to Make a Supple and Exquisite Ballerina body”, and it was published by STUDIO TAC CREATIVE Co., Ltd. She completed Mat Pilates Intermediate & Advanced Course in Pilates Institute (PI) in 2006.

In 2008, Ms. Saito supervised and published “10-Minutes Ballet Exercise taught by a ballerina.” The next year 2009, she completed the postpartum workout course organized by Japan Maternity Fitness Association.

Since 2010, she has been a school head of BALLET ARTS KIDS concurrently.

Since 2011, she has presided over BALLET ARTS MEDICAL ACADEMY. She coached classic ballet, also coached for international competition etc, - at the Sevens Academy (for men) of Japan Rugby Football Union.

From 2012, she is taking a Master Degree Program in Training Science at Nippon Sport Science University.
